Hello, Lower Haight.

A Parisian day,
on the corner of the street.

A piece of Paris in Lower Haight. Fresh viennoiseries every morning, coffee all day, wine in the afternoon — and the light that comes in through the corner window.

About

The Bistro

On a quiet corner of Lower Haight, Café du Soleil opens every day. The window looks onto the sidewalk. The coffee is serious. The pastries come out of the oven every morning.

People come in for a coffee and a croissant, or for a glass of wine and a French onion soup when the fog rolls over San Francisco. It's a neighborhood bistro — built for sitting down and staying a little while.

We serve the French classics. Not reinvented, not modernized. Just made with care, in a room that smells of bread and coffee from morning until evening.
